Join us for our monthly Outdoor Reiki circle healing group at sunset at the Oakland Nature Preserve. One of the most amazing ways to feel the wonderful connection we have with all of life is outdoors. It is the best possible way to feel the flow of universal life force energy and to practice “grounding” your energy. This event will take place right in time to harness the New Moon energy. We start by meeting at the parking lot at 5:30pm and walk the 2/3 mile boardwalk nature trail together until we arrive at the pavilion for the Reiki circle. The nature trail is filled with lush tropical plants and trees as well as many birds, turtles and other wildlife. This is not your typical Reiki Share/Circle. Along with improving circulation through exercise walking the trail will immerse your senses giving you a feeling of peace that will prepare you for the Reiki circle.
The Reiki Circle is open to everyone:
- Those who are curious and want to experience Reiki
- Those that have experienced the joy and healing of Reiki
- Those who are practitioners of Reiki at any level
The primary purpose of having a circle or “share” is to participate in giving and receiving Reiki within an atmosphere of friendship and love. The Reiki circle will start with brief discussion of Reiki. I will then lead a Reiki Healing Experience for the group. The experience is done prior to a treatment making the treatment more effective by opening the aura and creating more of a receptive state. During a Reiki Healing Experience I will facilitate a short guided meditation as participants relax and receive the deeply healing energies of Holy Fire Reiki.
Following the experience we will practice giving and receiving Reiki to each other. During a Reiki circle one person sits in a chair as multiple participants/practitioners lay healing hands upon him/her facilitating a massive flow of Reiki energies. Group energies are often very strong and can be more penetrating than individual sessions. This type of Reiki treatment is a wonderful and often profound experience! It’s also a great way to meet and network with Reiki enthusiasts in your area.
It is recommended that you dress very comfortably as we will be outdoors. Please bring the following:
- Yoga mat and towel (optional) as we will all be laying down during the experience. I will be providing Aromatherapy eye pillows for use as well.
- Bottle Water
- Towel (optional)
- Crystals you would like to use during the Reiki experience or circle (Optional)
The 2/3 mile walk lasts around 15 minutes so wear comfortable shoes or sneakers. Energy exchange is $10.
